The MSATP staff powers the Society's day-to-day work — coordinating education, supporting members, and championing tax and accounting professionals across Maryland.
Giavante' “Gigi” Hawkins serves as the Executive Director of MSATP. She brings operational depth and a people-centered vision shaped by experience at organizations like the American Bankers Association. Gigi currently serves on the Maryland Comptroller’s Tax Workgroup and holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a master’s in Non-Profit and Association Management. Outside the office, she enjoys family time, the gym, and exploring new places.
Kelly Ebaugh is the Assistant Executive Director of MSATP, having served the Society since 2015. She oversees sponsorships, partnerships, membership services, and event coordination, and has been instrumental in growing MSATP’s student membership program. Kelly lives in Maryland with her family, and spends her free time scrapbooking, gardening, antiquing, and with her six English Labs.
Kristy Memphis, a Carroll County native, joined MSATP in 2023 as a Member Services & Volunteer Representative. She brings a people-first approach to member support, roundtables, and event hospitality. Kristy lives in Westminster with her husband, Jake, and their dog, Rue, and enjoys reading, road trips, and visiting national parks.
Tasha Butler is MSATP’s Webinar and Tech Specialist. Before joining MSATP, she founded T. Butler Creative, a video and live-streaming production company that helps women-owned businesses connect with their communities. Tasha is a proud alumnus of Towson University, Georgetown University, and CCBC, and enjoys cooking, gardening, and watching movies with her husband.
